From the recording Ladybird (Full Album)
I wrote Little Rain at a farmers market in Manhattan, NY where I sold apples at a booth at 14th Ave. I learned that people never buy apples angry, the smell makes one happy even if you are like me and don't care to eat them. That was my first Autumn in NYC all by myself and my guitar content and rarely dreaming of more. Selling apples in the soft NYC summer rain...so romantic!
Lyrics
A little Rain by Mehuman
A little rain must fall sometimes
And sometimes the clouds block the sunshine
oh I send all my love
oh I send all my love
oh I send all my love to you
Sometimes you can’t find a single friend
and you feel the darkness closing in
oh I send all my love
oh I send all my love
oh I send all my love to you
so now you think that you, think that you are so all alone
Oh, but life is hard, life is hard on everyone
So just do the best, now, do the very best that you can do
and I will send all my love to you
oh sometimes (when) if I just can’t be there
(Just) keep you eyes on the moon, darling keep them there
and I will send all my love to you
oh I send all my love
oh I send all my love to you
