Of course I wrote this song while fiddling around in a relationship with another emotionally unavailable un-mate. We were at Planet Thai in Williamsburg Brooklyn and I scribbled all of the lyrics on napkin in just the space of 10 minutes. Scott was talking and I was writing - two souls at a tiny table yet a thousand miles apart. We weren't together long. So many reasons, yet none of them noteworthy. We just weren't meant to be,..unlike this song. I truly feel honored to have penned Venue Dances with Mars.
